LOOK: On November 12, 2021, Laguna Lake Development Authority led by GM Joey Medina along with the Department Manager III of the Resource Management and Development Department (RMDD), Jun Paul Mistica, OIC for the Project Development Management and Evaluation Division, Ms. Jocelyn Siapno and the rest of the staff from the Project Development Management and Evaluation Division visited the mayor’s office of San Pablo, Laguna for the turnover of the Development Management Plans for the Seven Crater Lakes.
The representatives from the LGU of San Pablo, particularly the City Mayor of San Pablo, Mr. Loreto Amante, and the Chairman of the Friends of the Seven Lakes Foundation, Msgr. Jerry Bitoon, undertaken the DMPs for Bunot Lake, Calibato Lake, Mohicap Lake, and Palakpakin Lake. Also present during the turnover are some of the members of FARMC.
These Development Management Plans are formulated to achieve sustainable management of lakes through a continuous, gradual, and holistic approach in improving the current state of the Seven Crater Lakes.
GM Medina stated that “…kung ang lahat ay magtutulungan, kung ang lahat ay magbibigay suporta sa isang napakagandang adhikain, lahat po ng challenges, lahat ng problema kaya natin lagpasan at lahat ay pwede nating maisakatuparan.”
LLDA is committed to asserting its mandate in the protection and restoration of the Seven Crater Lakes by continually providing technical assistance and other support to ensure that DMPs will be implemented.
