LLDA and BFAR Distributes Red Tilapia in Seven Lakes
Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) teamed up with the Bureau of Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region-4A to deliver and disperse an estimated total of 51,000 Red Tilapia fingerlings in the Seven Lakes.

LLDA Issues Fisherfolk Identification Cards
Around 12,331 stakeholders within Laguna de Bay Region and the seven crater lakes in Laguna have received their fisherfolk IDs from the Laguna Lake Development Authority. The issuance is in accordance with Republic Act 8550 or the Fisheries Code of the Philippines, which is further amended by Republic Act 10654.

LLDA filed a Grave Coercion and Violations of R.A. 7279 and R.A. 4850
On August 4, 2020, the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA), represented by GM Jaime “Joey” Medina and the Municipality of Taytay, represented by Mayor George Ricardo Gacula III filed before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Rizal a complaint in the presence of Ms. Gloria T. Marinduque De Guzman – Senior Deputy Provincial Prosecutor, Mr. Jonathan Raymond B. Lledo – Provincial Prosecutor, and Mr. Severino V. Alforte – Senior Assistant Provincial Prosecutor for Grave Coercion and Violations of Republic Act No. 7279 and Republic Act No. 4850, as amended, against individuals responsible for selling/disposing of public lands along the Laguna Lake to private individuals through fraudulent, misleading and deceitful means.

Please be informed that in spite of the General Community Quarantine imposed over Luzon and other parts of the country, the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) continues to accept applications for environmental permits and other frontline services as it strives to fulfil its commitment to public service under this new normal work environment.

Babala sa Pagdami ng Liya sa Lawa ng Laguna
Nitong Hunyo 2020, nagsagawa ang mga tauhan ng LLDA ng imbestigasyon sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Lawa ng Laguna na napaulat na may fishkill o pagkamatay ng isda. Ito ay sa mga lugar na nasasakupan ng Barangay Malaya at Quisao, Pililla, Rizal at sa Barangay Kinaboogan, Kaytome, Kalinawan, Limbon-limbon at Ithan na nasa Binangonan, Rizal. Batay sa isinagawang imbestigasyon, maaring nagkaroon ng matinding pagdami ng liya sa lawa sa mga nabanggit na lugar dulot ng sobrang init ng panahon at nang umulan ay posibleng biglang nagbago ang temperatura ng tubig sa lawa na ikinamatay ng mga liya. Ang oxygen naman sa tubig ay nagkulang dulot ng mga nabubulok na mga liya na naging sanhi ng pagkamatay ng isdang nasa fishcages.

New Normal
LLDA has resumed its operations today, June 1, 2020. “New normal” procedures are implemented in order to ensure the safety of LLDA’s stakeholders as well as its employees.
Safety protocol such as social distancing, wearing of masks, and proper hygiene is strictly observed and imposed. The filling out of Visitor Wellness Screening Form (VWSF) has also been implemented in order to track the health of each visitors.

Ito po ay may kaugnayan sa kumalat na balita na di umano’y nagkaroon ng biglaang pagbaba ng lebel ng tubig ng lawa sa baybayin ng Muntinlupa City kahapon, Mayo 15, 2020 bandang ika-apat ng hapon. May lumabas din po na teyoryang galling sa isang Geologist na ang biglaang pagbaba ay dahil sa pagbitak ng lupa sa ilalim ng lawa. Ang balitang ito ay labis na ikinabahala ng ilan sa ating mga kababayan at nagpa abot ng kanilang katanungan at humingi ng paliwanag o opinion mula sa LLDA hinggil sa bagay na ito.

LLDA Remits P43-M Dividends for Covid-19 Relief Efforts
On March 9, 2020, a state of public health emergency in the Philippines was declared and subsequently, last March 16, 2020 Luzon was placed under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) to quell the rising Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the country.

LLDA and PRCMO Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
​In line with the LLDA’s strong commitment and will in restoring the former glory of Laguna de Bay Region and it’s lake water, LLDA also strives in upholding the rehabilitation of the Laguna Lake’s tributary rivers, one of which is the Pasig River. With this, LLDA entered a collaboration with the PRCMO (Pasig River Coordinating and Management Office) the newest government office under the DENR in assisting them in reviving the Pasig River.

TESDA-LLDA Inauguration
On 30 January 2019, Thursday, was the inauguration of the TESDA-LLDA Provincial Learning Center held at the LLDA Compound in Calauan, Laguna. Three years after the proposal of the then Senator Sergio R. Osmeña in 2017, the TESDA-LLDA Provincial Learning Center has come to fruition through the collaboration of LLDA, headed by General Manager Jaime C. Medina, and TESDA, led by Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña.

LLDA Filed a Case Against IPM Construction and Development Corporation
March 5, 2018 – LLDA GM Jaime Medina made a strong statement when he vowed to implement the full intent of the law when he formally filed a complaint at the Office of the City Prosecutor in Taguig City against IPM Construction and Development Corp.
