The women work force of the Laguna Lake Development Authority joined the other women groups at the Quezon Circle grounds for the kick-off ceremony of the 2018 National Women’s Month, with the theme “We Make Change Work for Women.”

A month-long celebration includes several activities that will raise awareness on gender equality and sensitivity in the workplace, as well as improve the general well-being and status of women in the workforce.

After the formal ceremony, an energizing session of Zumba dancing exercises was held for fun and camaraderie. Everyone is invited to participate in similar sessions which will be held every Friday (i.e on March 9, 16 and 23) from 2:30 to 3:30pm at the QC grounds.

For the whole month of March, LLDA will also sponsor an educational forum such as Basic Self Defense for Women, Pressing Issues on Sexual Harassment, as well as workshops on women’s health and wellness
