LLDA General Manager Jaime Medina gathered the heads of the various national and local agencies to the first meeting of the Sta. Rosa Watershed Management Council (SWMC) and its Sub-WQMA Board in Cabuyao, Laguna last February 28, in order to facilitate coordination and secure their full support in the Laguna Lake watershed management activities and objectives of LLDA.

The different organizations came together to discuss the policy direction of SWMC Three-Year Action Plan for 2018-2020,as well as to define the commitments of the various agencies.in the concerted effort to protect and preserve the lake resources. Other important issues were discussed, such as the project proposal for the People Survival Fund (PSF) – IGES UPLB-LLDA, the Watershed Forum for the Sta. Rosa Sub watershed, and the Portable Toilet Solutions (PTS) project.
