World Bank Grants Additional Financing for LISCOP Projects

The LLDA has been granted by the World Bank/ International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) a US$10.0 million additional financing for the LISCOP Project. It intends to apply the loan proceeds to finance the implementation starting July 2010 of environmental improvement sub-projects of Local Government Units in the Laguna de Bay Region, initially the following:
- Cabuyao Flood Control Sub-Project
- Silang Material Recovery Facility with Composting Sub-Project
- Lukban Water Supply and Sanitation Sub-Projec
- Paete Material Recovery Facility with Composting Sub-Project
- Antipolo Integrated Solid Waste Management Sub-Project
- Cavinti Eco-Tourism Enhancement Sub-Project
- Bay Lakeshore Protection Sub-Project
- Bulusukan River Eco-Tourism and Flood Control Sub-Project (Pila, Laguna)
- Pangil Eco-Tourism Enhancement Sub-Project
All interested individuals and groups, and the general public are informed that the Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) of the above-mentioned LGU sub-projects are publicly available at the following offices/addresses:
